Dr. Jill Rimmey

Dr. Rimmey, DO, has been providing full-spectrum Family Medicine care to patients of all ages since 2006. She has special interests in caring for the adolescent and young adult age group as well as managing behavioral health issues.

Originally from State College, Pennsylvania, Dr. Rimmey moved to Southwest Colorado in 1992 after graduation from Towson State University near Baltimore. After several years of skiing, hiking, and working in service-related fields, she completed pre-med coursework at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. She attended Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, located in Northeastern Missouri.

Husband Troy is a co-owner of a fly shop and guide service in Telluride, and he is looking forward to becoming part of the Durango community. In 1998, their daughter Brier was born, and she currently attends Colorado College.

Dr. Rimmey loves the focus on integrated care for all patients. She enjoys community-based and patient-centered primary care with the added support and resources Axis provides.
