“I desire to help my clients and their families find their paths to healing and wellness. I will be here to guide them. I believe each person within their family system has their culture-specific world view, which can be used to help them achieve their treatment goals. Gaining an understanding of the systems clients are involved in is an essential component of treatment (i.e., family, school, employment, peers, primary care), and I strive for open communication between all systems involved with clients.”
Snyder said: “I was a middle school social studies teacher for 17 years before changing professions to become a therapist. I enjoy working with kids and adolescents of all ages. I love being outdoors, camping, gardening, and going on road trips. I also enjoy being creative by making decorations and crafts and playing the piano. I moved to Dolores in July 2020 from Lamar, Colorado, where I lived since I was 13.”
