Free cancer screenings

Axis Health System’s Women’s Wellness Connection program (WWC) provides breast and cervical cancer screenings free of charge to eligible women. WWC launched in July 2021 in Montezuma County at Cortez Integrated Healthcare. In Dolores County, the program has been successfully running for decades at Dove Creek Integrated Healthcare (formerly Frontier Community Health Clinic).

WWC eligibility

Women are eligible for this program if they are between age 21 to 64, living in Montezuma or Dolores counties, and are uninsured, underinsured or have Medicaid. Services are free to eligible patients.
