About Rebecca Hamilton
Rebecca Hamilton, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant and urgent care provider at Pagosa Urgent Care. She has experience in urgent care, primary care, and rural medicine, with a commitment to serving communities across Colorado’s Western Slope and the Four Corners region.
Rebecca provides same-day care for illnesses, minor injuries, and other urgent needs, and is connected directly to the Axis primary care and behavioral health teams to support the whole person. Her clinical expertise includes rapid assessment, minor procedures, and ongoing care coordination to help patients get the right care at the right time.
Rebecca earned her Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Duke University and received a VA Health Professional Scholarship for her dedicated work caring for veterans. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry with a Health and Medical Sciences concentration at Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
Rebecca focuses on listening carefully, explaining options in clear language, and involving patients in realistic, step-by-step care plans.
