Susan C. Kuhns, NP

Susan C. Kuhns, NP, is a board-certified adult nurse practitioner with over 38 years of clinical experience. She currently provides care to the Pagosa Springs community through Axis Health System at Pagosa Springs Integrated Healthcare and Archuleta County Public Health Department. Susan is known for her compassionate dedication to women’s health, preventive care, and her long-standing commitment to rural medicine.

She began her career as a nurse practitioner in 1987 and has since served in a variety of clinical settings, including her own practice, Pagosa Health and Wellness, and Pagosa Medical Group. Susan Kuhns NP is currently accepting new patients for hormone replacement for women and weight loss options for adults.

She has also been interested in more alternative approaches to health care that are based on scientifically proven treatments.
