Durango, Colo. – Axis Health System is pleased to announce the addition of Taylor Gillis, MD, to the team at Durango Integrated Healthcare. Dr. Gillis is a board-certified family medicine physician and is now accepting new patients of all ages.
Dr. Gillis’ clinical expertise includes preventive care, chronic disease management, sports medicine, and acute care. Dr. Gillis is fluent in both English and Spanish. Dr. Gillis earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV, where he was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society for his compassionate patient care.
“I believe in a value-based and community-focused approach to healthcare, offering care that addresses the physical, emotional, and social factors that influence health,” said Dr. Gillis. “It’s my goal to build trust with my patients, not only by treating them but also by guiding and educating them to make informed decisions about their own health.”
