Rebecca brings experience in urgent care, primary care, and rural medicine, with a strong commitment to serving communities throughout Colorado’s Western Slope and the Four Corners region. She provides same-day care for acute illnesses, minor injuries, and urgent health concerns, helping patients access timely, appropriate treatment close to home.
Her clinical expertise includes rapid assessment and triage, laceration repair, wound care, incision and drainage, skin lesion evaluation and removal, splinting, and basic fracture care. She also emphasizes ongoing care coordination, connecting patients directly with Axis primary care and behavioral health teams when follow-up support is needed.
Rebecca earned her Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Duke University and was selected as a recipient of the VA Health Professional Scholarship Program for her dedicated work caring for veterans. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with a concentration in Health and Medical Sciences at Colorado State University.
Rebecca is licensed in Colorado and holds current NCCPA board certification, as well as Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support certifications.
“My goal is to listen carefully, explain options in clear language, and involve patients in realistic, step-by-step care plans,” Rebecca said. “Urgent care visits can feel stressful, and I want patients to leave feeling informed, supported, and confident about what comes next.”
Axis Health System continues to expand access to integrated, whole-person care across Southwest Colorado. Pagosa Springs Urgent Care provides walk-in and same-day services to support community members when they need care most.
