Crested Butte, Colo. – Axis Health System (Axis) Crested Butte has moved to a new location at 412 Elk Avenue. Services will begin on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. The new location will continue to provide high-quality mental health and substance use care services. The larger space creates the capacity to offer additional services, particularly for the North End of the valley.
In Crested Butte, Axis provides a variety of behavioral health treatments and support:
• Case Management
• Individual, group, and family therapy for all ages
• Mental health care
• Peer Services
• Psychiatry and medication management
• Naloxone training and distribution
Additional services such as DUI classes and supported employment are available virtually.
“Axis is excited to expand our footprint here in Crested Bute. Our community has embraced seeking support and reducing mental health stigma. Our new location allows us to plan for future expansions to our services that we know will benefit the community.” said Sarah Kramer, LCSW, LAC, therapist, and clinical supervisor in Crested Butte.
