Durango, CO – Axis Health System is pleased to announce the grand opening of the new Durango Integrated Healthcare pharmacy in the former Mercury building in La Plata County. Designed to serve both the community and Axis patients, this new location enhances access to pharmacy services in the heart of Durango. The pharmacy is Axis’ third pharmacy location in southwest Colorado.
Access to pharmacy services is an essential part of comprehensive healthcare. The new pharmacy offers a broad spectrum of commonly prescribed medications, addressing a critical need for easy access to essential prescriptions. The pharmacy accepts various coverage options, including Medicaid, Medicare, and most private insurance. Discounts are also available to those who qualify.

The new pharmacy is now open to the public from Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 150 Mercury Village Drive. Public transportation to the clinic is available every thirty minutes throughout the day.
The Durango Integrated Healthcare pharmacy is Axis’ third pharmacy location in the southwest Colorado region. Axis Director of Pharmacy, Pharmacist Josh Shumway leads the new service line alongside Pharmacists Nichole Belland, Jenna Wright, and certified pharmacy technicians.
